This past weekend was a good one. It wasn’t extraordinary work or money wise but it was good nonetheless.
The UFC fight was the big event on Saturday at the club. Casey bought several new flat screen tvs and installed them in various places around the club so the customers could watch the fight. It brought in a lot of business and we did make a substantial amount of money on stage the few hours before and during the fights. Luckily I had just left the stage when the main event took place. After the 53 second main event the club cleared out and left only the serious T&A connoisseurs.
Sunday was spent on the couch in recovery as usual. Having a modeling event next weekend I decided that I should try to burn a few more calories so I danced a bit harder. So I was a bit sorer.
Monday was Memorial day therefore I had the day off from my regular job. I would normally have worked at the club on Sunday night but I decided that I would like to have two days off in a row and that holidays are normally not busy enough to make a substantial amount of money anyway. I found out later that Sunday was very busy. Uugghhh. That seems to be the way things go.
However, I did manage to get up in the morning and work a few hours in the yard before I exhausted myself. I am happy with the work I did, but now I have more work to be done. Hubby trimmed the forsythia, I trimmed up some trees and bushes and now we are left with a whole bunch of brush. My goal is now to go home and cut up the brush small enough to bag and have it hauled away on trash day. Oh the joys of home ownership. What a crock of shit.
This weekend should be busy and fun. I’ll be working as usual and I’ll be modeling at the track for a few hours on Saturday. I’m almost excited about it. Almost. Seems that my enthusiasm for Motorsports modeling is dwindling. I think that this is because I’m so exhausted from working so much. I really don’t want to loose my love for that because it really is something that I love to do. Just not looking forward to it at the moment.
I’m gearing up for Hyperfest again. Weee! Looking for models and handing out flyers. Life is sweet!
