CJP

My two days off were fantastic! I was upset at first that the other Admin managed to get Thursday off before I could ask for it but now I see that I got the better end of the deal. I wanted Thursday off because our offices are closed on Friday and it makes for a nice long weekend. Instead, I took Tuesday and Wednesday off. I figured that Thursday would be a short and laid back day anyway, since everyone else is taking a vacation this week. And the weather for Tuesday and Wednesday were fantastic and today is cold and blustery!

Tuesday ended up to be one of the most beautiful days! I woke up early and went for a long drive, went shopping for a new vacuum and a new foreman grill. I then proceeded to my fav tattoo studio to speak with one of the artists about and set up an appointment for my tattoo. When I got home, Jim told me that his waterbed was leaking very badly. He wasn’t kidding! Luckily there was a plastic liner in the frame because the water was up to the top of that! I took Jim and Dirty (another friend of ours) to Big Lots to pick out a mattress and then to Ci Ci’s for dinner. Mmmm good pizza! Hubby spent that time procuring a radiator for his pooped out one in his Integra.

Wednesday was a very exciting day for me. I had an appointment with Jason McCarty
BodyArt Tattoo Studio for a tattoo I have been thinking of for a while now. I’ve been researching artists for a long time. I had a certain tattoo in mind and it required a certain artist’s flair to make it look exactly how I wanted. I’ve seen tattoos and asked who the artist's were and researched online and narrowed down my possibilities. I finally knew who I wanted to do my tattoo and luckily for me it is the same place that I got my piercings. I met Jason at the club a few weeks ago and I told him my idea and his eyes lit up and it was like my idea was his and he went with it. I knew that I had to choose the right time to get my tattoo because the placement would hinder working. So these few days off really seemed to be the perfect time. I couldn’t find an exact picture of what I wanted and I had been looking for over a year. But I showed him the pictures I had collected and told him my ideas and he told me some ideas and asked a lot of questions. It was like Jason plucked the image from my head and put it on paper. My tattoo turned out to be so spectacular that it turned into “a piece”. Jason was as happy about the outcome as I was and I am very ecstatic about it.
This is a Wisdom Tree or otherwise known as the Tree of Life. The tree, with its branches reaching up into the sky, and roots deep into the earth, can be seen to dwell in three worlds - a link between heaven, the earth, and the underworld, uniting above and below. The Tree of Life representing the coveted state of eternal aliveness or fulfillment, not immortality of the body or soul. In such a state, physical death (which cannot be overcome), is nevertheless a choice, never an accident, and direct experience of the perfect goodness/divine reality/god is not only possible, but everpresent.. This tattoo represents my father - He will live in me forever. His initials are in the roots C J P

candy: that tattoo is beautiful. truly.

did it hurt like a bitch?

reason I'm asking: number two said he will pay to have me tattooed for my birthday this year, and I've heard that tattoos on hands or feet hurt the worst, because of the lack of fatty tissue. well, anyway, I'll just butch it up. hahahahaha.

I haven't decided yet, but I had in my mind to do the chinese forever young which is on my site. after seeing yours, I may rethink my choice.
