Racing for cash

Well I should be heading to VIR for another race weekend but I chose to work at the club instead. It’s the first weekend of the month and they tend to be more lucrative than during any other time of the month. I dunno, I suppose everyone is cashing in their welfare checks or whatever. I’m pretty darn disappointed in myself for choosing anything over racing. My only excuse is that I’m trying to get my bills paid off and I can’t do that by working at the race track. On a long trip such as going to VIR I just about break even with gas and expenses.

Don't get me wrong, I’m actually really excited about working tonight. I’ve been counting down the hours. I woke up this morning dreaming about it. It wasn’t a great dream. Something about being called to the stage and I wasn’t ready. Not so bad, but I like to be ready and not flustered when I hit the stage. It helps.

I’m trying out a new pair of shoes tonight. They’re not your standard stripper shoes but regular heels. I’m going with the theory that maybe I won’t fall so much and that some dudes are scared of those big heels.

Hubby just asked for $100 to go out drinking…. That’s interesting. Considering he doesn’t like to drink. Guess he had a bad day.
