The Dr told me to try eating small protein meals every two or three hours. That worked pretty well on Friday. Matter of fact I was feeling better after taking her advice. Saturday was a different story. I have never before thought that I would have to go to the hospital. Saturday night I thought I might have to. I was feeling very weak, with cold sweats. I was barely able to stand. Usually when I feel this way I eat something and it goes away. The feeling didn’t go away after I ate a club sandwich. I was about ready to give up and go home. My body was telling me I was missing something and I knew it was true. The only thing that I could think about was Orange Juice so I drank a glass and it gave me enough energy to work through a set on stage. I drug my ass back out to the bar for another glass of OJ in time to hit the stage again. I don’t know what my problem is but damn I need to get fixed. I may as well have been dead yesterday. I could barely move off the couch.
Today I’m upright and breathing but that’s the extent. I feel nauseous, tired, irritated, dizzy, weak and sore.
What’s a girl to do but come to work and wait for the blood tests. I don’t know what to eat for fear of having one of those weak, shaky, cold, sweaty attacks again. The hardest things about breakfast is finding something that isn’t sweet or fatty or a carbohydrate. I settled for a nutty bagel with smear. Fuck.

I certainly hope that whatever is ailing you isn't serious, and you get it figured out soon.
ok, what's a nutty bagel with smear?
sounds kinda dirty.
Thanks Jock,
A nutty bagel is a bagel with random nuts. I think it had sunflower seeds but I wasn't being picky when I stole it off of someone else's desk. Smear (pronounced smya) is what them Northeasterners call cream cheese.
