I’m not feeling very creative in my writing style today so you’re just going to get the quick and dirty version of the past 4 days – which seems like 3 weeks.
I worked at the club on Wednesday night. It was fun as usual and I am happy to report the customers where generous. Thursday was good too believe it or not. Hubby had talked to my brother and let him know that I was still having a hard time so we didn’t have to go to his house. I woke up in time to catch the parade. Kitty came over and we all lounged on the couch and Hubby got a kick out of asking a zillion questions about England (Kitty spent her teenage years in England and still has the accent). He couldn’t hold in his excitement about talking to someone who’d actually lived outside the country. It got to the point where he couldn’t hold in his laughter anymore each time she said “shag”. It was like that kid on Austin Powers with the mole. Moley Moley Moley! He’s so funny, like a little kid sometimes.
I worked at my ‘real’ job on Friday. We all left around 1:30 and after having my car detailed I went home for a nap. Foxy’s appointment for her tooth went ok. She’s got to have surgery to get it removed! The Vet wants to combine her tooth removal and her spay together. We discussed the pros and cons of getting her fixed and we decided to go ahead and get it done. I really hate the thought of having Foxy go into surgery! I don’t know what to expect so I’ve got to ask a lot of questions.
Friday night I worked at the club. It was just your standard Friday night. No drama or anything too outrageous to talk about. Saturday night was interesting. A Washington, DC radio station held one of their DJ’s bachelor parties there. Casey was all excited and set up an area next to the stage for them. They did not broadcast from there but they did make sure to announce that they were coming. To say the least, there were a lot of people there. I listened to the re-cap of their night this morning on the radio. They said they had a lot of fun. That means that there are going to be a lot more people going out to our club since the DJ’s liked it so much. Sounds like more money to me!
I came home Saturday night (Sunday Morning) to a very drunk Jim. I gave Hubby explicit instructions and $$ to take Jonny and Jim out and get them wasted. Well Jonny was working on some strange ass so Jim got to enjoy it all himself and he did.
Sunday, we woke up late and went to Chili’s for breakfast (lunch). We then came home and sat on the couch the rest of the day. Jim gets to turn himself in to day. He hopes to be out of jail in two and a half months and he also hopes to have work release. I hope so too. Our house won’t be the same without him. Today is turning out to be great for a Monday. Hubby and I just had a nooner in the church parking lot. Whoop!
