One great thing about working at a strip club by a race track is that I get to do a lot of networking for my Motorsports Models business. There are always races or practices or classes at the track and they are usually men who are away from their wives for a weekend.
I ran into a few guys who build show cars on Saturday night. I had overheard one of them talking about how he builds cars for the Redskins and VIP’s like them. So when his friend asked what I do while not working at the club. I told him “I’m an Administrative Assistant……. and I own a Motorsports Modeling Agency.” Ding Ding Ding!
His ears perked up and next thing I knew another girl and I where invited out to a photo shoot on Sunday. So long as it didn’t rain. “because the Lambo doesn’t have a top.” Well it rained. But when they reschedule that’s an extra $300 in our pockets! That’s half a weeks work at my real job and 8 hours work at the club on an average night. I’ll put in an application at 7-11 quoting my rate of pay as $150/hour. No that’s not a dollar fifty an hour Habib! Ok, I’m done, it’s not like I actually got the $$. But you just have to allow me my moment. Hehhee!
Back to life, I’m sitting here in my cubicle. I received my review on Friday. It was a very good review! Well.. in the corporate sense of the word good. They always have to find something for you to improve upon. This time they want me to take on more responsibilities without asking so many questions. And of course in the next sentence… feel free to ask questions. Blah blah blah. I explained that I will ask questions until I feel comfortable enough to run with the ball by myself. If you really want to know what this job is like look at my list of blogs I read and check out the Admin’s Blog. I know I talk a lot about my life and work at the club. Here’s a peak into my life as an Admin. You will see why I’m driven to drink FO SHO!
Oh… one other thing.. that letter I wrote about being buried in my work… no go. We won’t be getting any more help BUT we will be getting another Development Director and another Attorney! They also want us to keep a time sheet divided up into 15 minute increments to find out what we are doing all day. Damn, now this is going to be tough.

When I worked in an office, I did almost exactly as you - on the computer checking blogs and email! But that company secretly checked our computers to see what we had been doing and we all ended up losing the internet. Alas. Now I work at home, so I don't have anyone checking up on me to see what I am doing! Congrats on the great review, drive em nuts with the questions!!
