Forward Thinking

This weekend is going to be very busy for me because it’s Hyper-fest! I’ve got all the girls together and I’m anticipating a good day.

Most of them are dancers from the club and live an hour or more away so they’ve decided to spend the night at my house so they don’t have to get up so early on Saturday morning. It’s funny how different it is having girls sleep over now than it was when I was 10. I’m sure Hubby hasn’t been able to sleep since I told him they where coming over. I have no idea what to expect and I do not want to think about it.

We will be getting up early on Saturday morning for a full day at the track. I will be splitting the girls into two groups. Half will be on the grid holding umbrellas and half will be visiting the vendors and taking photos with cars. They will switch halfway through the day.

I really wish I had pictures to show you last year but I cannot find any. Here are pictures of Nikki, Steph and I at a regular NASA event. We’re at trophy ceremonies. The guy in there is our director “big daddy” Chris Cobetto.

Meanwhile, I’ve been busy getting ready. I’ve waxed my eyebrows and given myself a facial. I bought glue on nails for my fingers AND toes! Can you believe they make those for toes now? They look awesome!

Now I’ve got to clean the house and go shopping for blue balls and peaches for the ice dunking competition. I’ve been trying to figure out better dunking possibilities besides blue balls and peach fuzz. We’ve used that one since the beginning. I was thinking Nuts and Weiners. I could find some large nuts like walnuts and some plastic hot dogs from a toy store. Another idea is dunking for crabs but I’d like to have something to go with that but I can’t figure out what. Plastic crabs of course.

French pedicure, toe ring and open-toed shoes. I think I sprung some wood.
