incomplete abandon

Holy Crap it’s Wednesday, wasn’t it Wednesday like two days ago?
Sheesh New Year’s Weekend just zipped by!
Good thing I wrote all that down yesterday or I wouldn’t have remembered it happened at all.
I see a trend in yesterday’s writing… less alcohol…less money. Me wonders if that is a coincidence?
Let’s see what else went on…Saturday, I started my period a week early. I’m kinda glad because I hate traveling while on the rag. It’s just not fun! (sorry guys – gotta keep track somehow) Sunday night was quite low key for a New Years Eve party. The crowd was very sedate. The air conditioning was broken so it was very hot in there. I am sure that a lot of customers left because it was so very hot. Hubby had told me that he was feeling very apprehensive about seeing me in the club so we decided it would be better if he hung out with his friends instead. Throughout the evening I wanted to call him and ask him to come anyway but I didn’t want to make him do anything he didn’t feel comfortable doing. At 5 till midnight I picked up my phone to call him to ring in the New Year that way when a text message came through telling me that he’d be there in two minutes. I was so excited! I replied saying they were making us all go on the stage. So there he was waiting by the stage with his cute shiny head. I got my midnight kiss! He hung out for a few minutes saying hi to all the girls and some of his friends that were there and then he left before it was my turn to dance. I got all teary eyed in my excitement. That sure made my day so much better.
I have to admit, a lot of this past weekend is a blur. I may have to resort to writing a bit on the weekends in order to better document my pillaging and plundering of wallets.
I’m very apprehensive about my trip to Seattle next week. I sooo don’t want to go. Meeting the CFO for dinner is not on my top 101 things to do in my life for damn sure. I will have to miss Friday night at the club but I can make it up on Sunday night since I have Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday off.
I’m still trying to shake this cold, seems it’s been going around and kicking people’s asses!
