Timing is everything.

There was a point in our relationship when I wanted a positive answer to a question I had to ask it at the appropriate time. Like during sex… right around the point where it’s his turn to…. Well ya know. I have been craving sushi for a few weeks and I had been shot down several times about my choice in dinner. Yesterday, I decided that since I was going to get laid no matter what I would be able to time my question about dinner accurately and soon I would be enjoying my new favorite crispy tuna roll. Well when it came down to it, I totally forgot about dinner until the very last second and then by the time I got the words out of my mouth the moment was over. I popped the question anyway and to my astonishment got shot down. I know the way men work, he would have said yes to anything had I asked at the appropriate moment. After discussing my tactics we at least agreed that carry out would be a good idea. So I got to enjoy my crispy tuna roll at home instead of at the restaurant. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted… I’d rather eat at the restaurant, that way I don’t have to clean up the mess. But in the end, I got my sushi and I got laid. Life is good.
