Going back to NeverNever Land

• Dear NeverNever Land,
  I miss you soo much! I will be back soon I promise!
  No matter what it takes, no matter if Captain Hook wants me to or not! You won’t believe what Scores was like! It’s a very nice club, but not as nice as you! It had me charmed the first night with the flowers in the dressing room and a House Mom! They have these bouncers with black suits and white ties that are there to help you sell private rooms of which are way expensive! They have all these beautiful girls and the customers who come in expect to drop a lot of money. The first night was great, one of our regulars came up to Baltimore just to see us! It was so nice to be able to sit and relax and watch how things worked. But that’s where the fun ends.
  Saturday night was a totally different story. I left Scores with high expectations on Friday night. I left Scores on Saturday night angry and frustrated. There’re a lot of girls on drugs there. We were told not to worry over our pimples (pop them or otherwise touch them) because they are having a Staff infection problem. We are only on stage twice or three times a night and we have to pay the DJ $10! The
  House Mom wasn’t even in the dressing room most of the night and we have to pay her $10 and I don’t even know why. We have to pay for parking $5 and then tip the valet $5 (I’d rather pay the valet than the DJ or the Mom) The girls are cut throat! They will take any chance to take your customer away. They pay the bouncers to get them into VIP and talk the customers into taking privates with girls they aren’t interested in. There were people with cameras taking pictures and the bouncers ignored it! Worst of all, the shots of Patrone are $10 each and they water it down!

Working at Vixen’s was fun and that’s why I liked it so much. If I started my dancing career anywhere else, I would have never kept doing it. I talked to Brandy about it on Sunday and she says that I just don’t have enough experience to work at a club like that. I have to stop being so nice and grow some balls and work the way the other girls do. If I have to focus my energy on being malicious then I don’t want to do it. Being an exotic dancer as a whole is a fun and exciting adventure for me. If I have to turn into a cut throat bitch it will drain all of the positive energy I have in me. And that is why most dancers get into so much trouble. They let the business run them instead of running their own business. Brandy said that this is a good learning experience for me and I couldn’t understand at the time what it was that I had to learn. Now that I have had time to think about it… She thinks I need to learn how to glean money easier from customers and not take shit from other dancers. I think it’s opening my eyes to the fact that NeverNever Land never never looked so damn good! I don’t have to take shit from dancers at Vixens because we all have the same mind set. We are all in it together. If a girl comes into Vixens with any other plan in mind, she’s quickly run out. The bouncers are trained to keep an eye on the girls safety. So if that means they have to break a face because someone brings a camera into the club then they will do it. They don’t get all chummy with the dancers, therefore there is no preferential treatment going on. It may take a few weeks for me to get back into Vixens but I will do it.
