Waiting till the end of time

I realized after Vital's desperate comment about my photoshop secret that the stupid link didn't work. So I reposted it. I also realized that I hadn't posted in a few days.
I really can't think of much to talk about. My prozac hasn't kicked in and I really try not to write while depressed.
Just wondering why I'm here, on this planet. Looking for the point in all this struggle. I'm working my ass off just to live comfortably but to what outcome? A nice box in a deep hole.

I suppose I'll break down my weekend for you. If you're not interested just stop here.

Friday, I raced home excited to have an uninhibited evening with my husband only to pull into the driveway to find..... another car in the garage. The winds promptly out of my sails I went to bed at 7:30 and didn't get up till 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Saturday, hubby got up to pick up Jonny at the airport. He had some leave from the Marines this weekend and decided to come home. Jonny missed his first flight because he fell asleep in the terminal so Hubby had to occupy his time and went to a friends house for a bit. I cleaned the house and took a nap and decided that since Hubby was going to be occupied, I would just go to work. I needed to keep my mind off of things anyway. The first Saturday of the month is usually lucrative. Well, that theory was wrong. My good friend/dancing partner decided that she was burnt out and left during our shift. We had each made $3 by 9:30 p.m.

Sunday, I woke up early to invite a friend over with her little wiener dog for a doggy play date. Fritz is an overweight, short haired mini. He is about a year and a half old and he is adorable! We will be watching him for a week while his mommy goes to the beach.

We have a friend that stays with us every weekend. Jim usually gets up Saturdays and Sundays and makes breakfast. This time, since I was up, I made breakfast for him! Jim has become known as my surrogate husband. If my hubby isn't around to take care of me, Jim is. It's a nice set up as far as I'm concerned.

Jim and I went to see Christian at her families cook out. She drove down from Vermont on Saturday night for a few days. Christians family is very nice.

I drove the back roads home and sat down for a nice glass of wine before bed. Hubby surprised me though. I thought he was out with Jonny but he had decided to stay home and spend a little quality time with me before he went out. And Quality it WAS!

That's my weekend in a nutshell. Oh happy day.
