Me and Steph, fellow NASA girl, drove down to Danville, VA for a NASA weekend. We both took Friday off from work. We had a great time! I borrowed a friend/racer's camera and we took pictures of ourselves posing with cars. The track was split up into two sections this weekend. The other side was being used by a street bike organization. I'm not really sure which one. Steph really loves bikes so we went over and checked them out and took some pictures of her with them too. We had a great time, and we came home on Sunday evening exhausted!
This was the first time that Steph actually hung out all day at the track instead of just showing up in time for the trophy ceremony. She really had a great time. Everyone loved her! It was really cool to find another girl who can meet my expectations of a NASA girl. Even though she made me feel like the "old and busted" car next to the "new hottness" (Men in Black II) it wasn't her fault, she's just new and hot and interesting.
I did manage to realize that I love taking pictures. I forgot how much fun it was. I really liked taking pictures of Steph too. I am thinking of buying a nice digital and starting something up. I could start some kind of motorsports modeling agency. I'm starting to get a feel for what is needed and I found that I can easily find girls to do the jobs. I may have found something I really like to do. I really need to look further into it and find out if I can make a career out of it. I suppose there will be downtime for winter... I don't think there are any rally courses around here to attend. Those are the only winter motorsports I know of.
